Improve Your Workflow And Security In Mozilla Firefox By Using The Download Status Bar Add-on

Are you tired of constantly swithing between tabs in order to see if your download is finished? Well, the add-on Download Status Bar 0.9.8 by Devon Jensen will fix that.
Step 1: Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-statusbar/ and install the add-on.
Restart Firefox.
Click on Install now.
Allow Firefox to install the software.
Step 2: Try it. Start A Download.
The status bar will appear at the bottom left corner.
Step 3: Improve your security by scanning for viruses every downloaded file.
Go to the settings of the Download Status Bar Add-on by follwing the steps below.
Go to the Virus Scan Tab.
Check the Manually scan completed downloads.
Click "Yes" here and don't worry your computer will be Ok and actually safer since every dowload will be checked for viruses.
Click here and select the location of your anti-virus software.
I'm using AVG and I will just load the location of the .exe file.
You can also adjust the file types you Don't want to scan.
That's pretty much it. Click Ok.
