T-Nation Is Not Your Best Friend
by Rusi
I'm sorry to bring it to you but most of the popular web-pages out there such as T-Nation are nothing but supplements selling companies. They don't really care about you all that much. They just use articles written by famous coaches in order to increase their popularity. Nothing wrong with that. Marketing is very important for every type of business. However sometimes the goal is to mislead people into buying their products. There was an article on T-Nation claiming that you can gain 30 pounds of muscle in a very short time using some kind of supplement called Anaconda...not so sure about the names.
Sorry. This is such a lie. Most people will need at least two years to gain 30 pounds of muscle if they don't use steroids or something. T-Nation gets advantage of bad informed people who on the other hand are looking for a shortcut and have some money to spend.
The truth is that as a natural lifter you probably won't need anything else besides: protein, multi-vitamins, fish oil and maybe creatine. I say maybe because creatine does not work for everyone despite what the gurus say. If you think of it that's 3 to 4 products. The rest is pure bullshit and will do close to nothing for you. Except empty your pockets.
"Ok. Bro. But all strong motherfuckers are using creatine, weight gainers..."
No. Dorian Yates and Ed Coan have said in interviews that they don't find creatine that effective and don't use it. At the same time I know one person who was able to attend a seminar of Ronnie Coleman where he said that creatine is effective but weight gainers only made him spend more time in the toilet. You see where I'm getting at: if it works for you use it. But if you don't see that much of a benefit you might just as well buy some food instead of the latest crap from MuscleTech. At least you know the food will work.
"Ok. Bro. But the authors of the articles on T-Nation are more muscular than you. They must know better. Ah?"
First not all of them are more muscular than me but many are. Second I don't give a fuck. Third use your brain - of course they will use muscular individuals to promote the stupid supplements sold on the site. You don't expect someone to follow the mass gaining advice of Harry Poter. They use them as promoters which doesn't mean that the particular author got jacked using any of the offered supplements. Get it?
Also most of the pictures in the articles on T-Nation are of people on heavy steroids. Trust me - 99% of the staff members of T-Nation do not look like the fitness figures in the articles.
"Use your brain and don't fall for the marketing crap of every supplement company."
